We want you to get the care you deserve.
Transforming mental healthcare
We are a group of licensed therapists at the doctoral and master's levels who provide quality mental health care. As a mental health collective, we support our members by offering therapy, medication management, coaching, and more. We help our clients connect with one of our providers who can meet their needs and is available either online or in person.
A modern approach
It’s essential for us that our clients get personalized suggestions on who from our team is the best match. Rather than do things the typical way, we’ve created a system designed around our patients’ needs.
About Us
Psychosocial Solutions provides mental health services, social services, psycho-education, and community health education to children, teens, adults, families, organizations, and groups in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas. Our practice's mission is to provide comprehensive and quality services to best meet the needs of its clients. To be flexible and technologically advanced, we now offer services both in-person and virtually. You do not have to worry about how far you are from our office because we can communicate with each other through a private, encrypted platform that allows you to remain in the comfort of your home, stay in tune on vacation, or keep up with your schedule on the go!
We offer services virtually to alleviate common barriers that prevent most from achieving mental wellness such as distance, scheduling conflicts, lack of transportation, need for childcare, state-to state laws and regulations, stress or anxiety related to social interactions or driving, etc. Most importantly, virtual services are not meant to replace face-to-face services, but it is a specialty chosen to best meet the needs of our target population. While it is not a "better" method to deliver services, we want to remind you that choosing to utilize these services is based on your personal preference, comfort level with the use of technology, and knowledge that this delivery will meet your needs.
Before We Get Started
Once you schedule an appointment, you will be sent over electronic documents that should be filled out at least 24 hours after receipt of the email. The records consist of the intake information needed to secure your appointment. If your documents are not completed, you will not be able to schedule until they are completed.
All information will be reviewed, which limits the need to fill out any paperwork at the time of your appointment. You are asked to upload your driver’s license, insurance card, and any other documentation requested for your chart.
Payments are collected on the day of each session.

Policy and Procedures
There is a 24-hour cancellation and reschedule policy. After 24 hours, you will be charged our fee for your scheduled appointment. It is at Psychosocial Solutions’ discretion to forfeit incurred charges. There is a charge for missed/no-show appointments for new and reoccurring clients. After 15 minutes of being tardy, you are still responsible for the fee, and you will be asked to reschedule. Your insurance does not cover late cancellations and missed appointment fees. You will be solely responsible for these fees.
*This does not apply to clients with Medicaid and Medicare.
**We appreciate prompt arrival for appointments. Please notify us at 662-892-2660 if you will be late or for late cancellation/rescheduling.
Using Insurance
When filing claims via insurance, the service must be rendered a medical necessity, which means a diagnosis must be present. It also limits confidentiality between you and the provider due to the sharing of information for service reimbursement. Our practice manager will explain more about payments during the time of scheduling.
In addition, Psychosocial Solutions can provide all clients with insurance and a Superbill to obtain service reimbursement from their insurance companies. It is suggested that you call your insurance provider to find out what Out-Of-Network fees they offer.
