FAQs

Where are we located?

We have 2 office locations: Grenada, MS and Water Valley, MS. You can find the addresses on our Home page.

Do we offer virtual services?

Yes, we offer telehealth/telemedicine. Coverage from insurance varies per plan, so check your benefits before engaging. We are accessible wherever you are to provide secure, confidential services via the use of technology. The delivery of our services can be accessed via a virtual platform. If you have a smartphone, tablet, or computer, you are all set! Just make sure that you are aware of your data usage plans or internet package before initiating services.

How will sessions be covered?

We accept most insurance plans and other methods of payment, which you can find on our Services page.

What can I expect for services?

We will review the intake paperwork, policies, and procedures. Every session thereafter is unique and caters to each individual and their specific goals. It is standard to discuss the primary issues and concerns in your life during sessions. It is common to schedule a series of weekly sessions where each session lasts 50-60 minutes, but sessions can be bi-weekly or even monthly. Services can also be short-term, focusing on a specific issue, or longer-term, addressing more complex issues or ongoing personal growth. There may be times when you are asked to take certain actions outside of the sessions, such as reading a relevant book or keeping records to track certain behaviors. It is important to process what has been discussed and integrate it into your life between sessions. For services to be most effective, you must be an active participant, both during and between the sessions. People seeking services are willing to take responsibility for their actions, work towards self-change, and create greater awareness in their lives.

How do you ensure privacy?

We take your privacy and confidentiality very seriously. We utilize strict privacy measures and encryption for all communication with you. Our online platform that gives you access to your client portal is secure and under HIPAA guidelines. As a third-party contractor, they have also provided a Business Associate Agreement which shows that they are legally required to protect your health information.

However, there are some exceptions required by law to this rule. Exceptions include:

  • Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse. The coach is required to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.

  • If a client threatens serious bodily harm to another person, the practitioner is required to notify the police.

  • If a client intends to harm himself or herself. The practitioner will make every effort to work with the individual to ensure their safety. However, if an individual does not cooperate, additional measures may need to be taken.
